Swire Salvage To Perform Deepwater Atlantic Salvage In 2013
We are pleased to announce our intention to participate in various deep water salvage and exploration projects in the Western Atlantic and off the East Coast of the United States in the first half of 2013. This work includes a possible short term visit in US waters.
The work will involve the usage of custom subsea tooling, heave compensated heavy lift equipment, dual 5,000m capable remotely operated vehicles and state-of-the-art high definition filming equipment.
Swire Seabed was the prime contractor for Odyssey Marine Exploration, the US based company responsible for recovery of silver from SS Gairsoppa in 2012.
